20/11/10 FRETS / BINDING / PICK UPS
Wait untill you hear this Epiphone 64 reissue FIREBIRD. Have fitted white binding to the neck creating the caps on the ends of the frets like a GIBSON more finished off like their bound necks...Really made a difference to the feel of the neck as well, a more chunkyier feel to it.. This one will really sing.!!!!

Love the feedback .... Using my favorite for all my hotrod guitars ,,, fret size... 6000 Jim Dunlop... Has been said that its like train tracks but yes,it does undoutabley give you more room underneath the string to get hold of it for that awesome bend each time without losing the wood if you were to scollop it... Did that to a neck some years ago and yeah, it certainly gave you that 100% grab but really after 2 or 3 months i really missed the wood not being there so that's when i got onto the bigger frets , wider and higher.. Cause i like my main guitar sound with just the right amount of gain to carry the cords and notes i found that it added sustain to my sound , maybe cause of the more fret there (metal) which works well with the strings... Works for me anyway... Pick ups , well got onto these GIBSON ones 500-T in the bridge and a 496-R ... Came across them from a customer who wanted a total restoration on an original 1971 GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM (Don't gringe collectors, it has been refinished before unfortunately ) all new hardware the works...The 500-Tbridge / 496-R neck that went into that which really was massive... So have made a checkerplate scratch-plate and fitted chrome pick up surrounds to finish it off... Oh yeah, 11-52 Ernie Ball E flat, drop C# ...Am going to fit a set in my Les Paul Goldtop so its up to the same standard like the Firebird. More Live shows coming in early 2011 so be sure to come along and check it all out.... Have a listen and c what you think... Any GUITAR REPAIR inquiries YOUNGBERG GUITAR REPAIRS 0409 505 228 !!!!!
